The Athanasaki Mansion has been part of the heritage of the village of Portaria for many years now, and is a part of the landscape for the villagers.

It was originally built over 100 years ago and was used as the living quarters for the Athanasaki family who resided there.

Throughout the last century, great care was given to mansion, which today still maintains it's original look and feel, that it projected when it was first built.

The huge thick door with the original "door knocker", the high ceilings, the thick walls, as well as the magnificent furnishings create a truly unique atmosphere, as though you have stepped back in time.

Today, the Arhontiko Athanasaki operates as a traditional mansion, providing an excellent selection of comfortable, quality and unique accommodation to visitors to Pelion. The mansion operates throughout the year, so whenever you plan to visit Pelion, you can find accommodation here.
